The course is intended to prepare the trainees to manage their own small enterprise. For this purpose the basic knowledge for running a business which will include some part of planning, marketing, accounting, information technology and Human Resource Management. Emphasis will also be given on to enhance the quality of written and oral communication skills.
Course contents-
- Understanding the role and use of information technology in supporting different business processes like production, marketing, accounting etc.
- Analysing Management Information Systems alongwith the theory and practice of E-Business.
- Resource and value chain.
- Identification of the target market, segments of the market, Branding, positioning the brand for the new enterprise. Formulating a marketing plan for the product or service.
- Accounting fundamentals- Understanding the basics of cost accounting, valuation and control of inventory.
- Management of Human Resources in changing economic environment.
- Effective communication skills.
